About Dr. Babak Missaghi

Dr. Missaghi is a qualified and accredited Chiropractor, Rehabilitation Specialist (accident recovery) and Certified Medical Acupuncture Practitioner.
He completed undergraduate studies in Behavioural Neuroscience (study of the nervous system) at Laurentian University in Northern Ontario. After obtaining an honours degree, he gained valuable frontline experience working with head injury survivors.
Dr. Missaghi graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1996, and completed his acupuncture training the same year. Concurrently with building his practice, he completed a three-year post-doctoral Fellowship in Chiropractic Rehabilitation Sciences. This specialization is one of only five recognized types of specialization for Chiropractors in Ontario. It qualifies him to treat much more complex and severe conditions such as injuries resulting from accidents due to motor vehicle collision or slip & fall. These frequently require a uniquely tailored and monitored exercise program in addition to other types of therapies in our office in order to achieve fullest possible recovery and maximum therapeutic value.
Dr. Missaghi is a member in good standing of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Ontario Chiropractic Association, College of Chiropractors of Ontario, Canadian College of Rehabilitation Specialists and Acupuncture Council of Ontario. He treats patients of all ages and a wide variety of health conditions, self-referred as well as those who arrive on recommendation from their medical practitioners.
