Monica completed her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Political Science at Laurentian University. She went on to receive her Master's Degree in Child & Development Studies, also at Laurentian University.
She worked with children who had special needs, individuals struggling with challenges in their personal lives, and families going through conflict. This combined experience motivated her to train as a Solution Focus Counselor at the University of Toronto, and qualify in techniques of Alernative Dispute Resolution at York University.
